John Holub

John Holub is a merchant prince in the most generous sense of the word.  John holds an uncanny understanding of what retailers of all sizes need, and how they may best operate to serve their community and profit from it. These past twelve years John has energetically taken on the challenges of President of The New Jersey Retail Merchants Association, battling all levels of government to create a survivable atmosphere for those business folks who sell to the public.   This juggling-act job sets John supporting all sides of his industry.  He is the one who finds common ground and beneficial legislature for Mom & Pop shops and their big box competitors; for online as well as brick-and-mortar stores.

John grew up in a retail world, helping his parents at their local store.  Previously he served as Executive Director of the NJ Council of Chain Drug Stores, and State Director of the National Federation of Independent Businesses.
