Jim Roe

James Roe knows how to spark excitement in audiences.  Whether he was performing as Principal Oboist in the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, or when he took the giant step into management to fill the NJSO’s leadership as orchestra President or CEO.  Jim’s engaging manner and accomplished executive abilities has made the New Jersey Symphony a major cultural force in the state bringing globally noted guest conductors and developing a broad community outreach program which has introduced hundreds of young musicians to the excitement of instrumental music, and fostered their talents.

Since his appearing as guest on The Art of the CEO, James has taken the new post of President & Executive Director of the Orchestra of St. Luke’s in New York.
